Oh, yeah, that. I had to pay eventually - just thought it was an unusual way of going about things…

Anyone new to the genre who wants to check out a few films before they start investing heavily could do worse than picking up these 3 box sets.
All under a fiver on Amazon.

Big Guns -
Emergency Squad
Big Guns
Violent Professionals
Magnum Cop
The Long Arm of the Godfather

Crime Boss -
Street law
Crime Boss
Revolver
Confessions of a Police Captain
Death Rage

Mafia Kingpin -
Mister Scarface
The Cop in Blue Jeans
The Cynic the Rat and the Fist
Violent Naples
Rome Armed to the Teeth

Transfers vary from watchable to excellent.

Films are all great

Agreed and i finally finished checking out the Big Guns collection last Sunday with BG and ES maintaining the best PQ imo. However, TVP's anamorphic transfer is definitely inferior to that found on Vipco's old non-16x9 DVD. Yep, you read that right! BG was the best film in the set for me and these Pop Flix compilations are well worth buying considering the princely prices they go for.

Yours truly also looked at the same label's Dead Or Alive spagwest set recently and this release is another winner. However, although the PQ on Black Killer was good, please be warned my copy has an all-too noticable visual flaw in that whenever a character walks around onscreen they do so with an awful stilted, 'jerky' sorta motion that made the movie unwatchable imo. Whether i have a defective disc or there's some kinda encoding error evident i'm not too sure. The other films in the compilation were all fine.

Next up, the Crime Boss collection and i hope to start scrutinising this set over the weekend.
