This is a shame - I see they'd started picking up Shameless titles as well but yes the point is they did often have titles unavailable elsewhere. With Xploited you got all your favourites all together in one handy pick 'n' mix. Sadly it's price that wins every time over expertise these days - it's something that makes this market harder and harder to sustain.

I think Xploited had the prices right - Shameless was going for about $24 a DVD, which is what you would pay here in a HMV store.

Too bad, I'll miss them... I've been buying loads of Raro and X-Rated Kult DVDs off them since hearing the news!! Ha, my poor bank account is spinning in it's freshly dug grave.

Xploited's prices were great, IMO. Often, European releases (particularly German discs) were actually cheaper when bought from there.

Agreed, The Raro and X-Rated Kult DVDs had a very appealing price tag... and still do! buy, buy, buy!

So much for my price theory! Actually I have a disturbing habit of not comparing prices - I just get the urge to order and buy - hence my newly acquired Hammer House of Horror box set I bought this morning to help salve the Monday Blues.

It is indeed great fun - if you liked the creakier Amicus or Hammer film entries simply because of the atmosphere you can get from filming Britain in the 70s/early 80s then you'll love this TV show.
