It's fun to see that people are actually interested in these films. I'll try to keep the thread living with new release etc.

I love the book! I have the original edition, but don't read or speak Swedish, so seeing an English-friendly updated edition made my day.

I recall buying a Feral House book on death metal bands or some such to trade with "Daniel Dellamore" for the original edition of SVENSK SENSATIONSFILM and his other book, VIOLENT ITALY. The latter had what at the time was the only chapter on Nazisploitation films to be found anywhere. This was in the very early days of the internet, before DVDs were anamorphic and bootleggers still sold VHS dubs.
Would love to check out Violent Italy. How was that one?

It is a slim volume, but densely packed with info. Each chapter covers a different genre with historic background, an overview of the most important films, and a brief timeline of their release. It's basically a primer/field guide to Italosploitation.

Awesome. When I interviewed Daniel for this piece, he didn't reflect too fondly on writing it. I don't remember the exact quote, but I'm sure he would do a much better job now!

It's a shame he feels that way because it's a fine book. There was so little published in those dark days.
