Nah never hated it mate,just not up my street,but then again neither is David Lynch,but when his boxset comes out,I may just give his films another bash!

In my review, the first paragraph of my Final Thoughts says:

Forbidden Zone won't be a film for everyone and, if you don't 'get' the anarchic humour and extremely offbeat setting, you will probably become bored very quickly. However, if you are one of those who loves the concept, dialogue, setting and songs, this will become one of your favourite films and one you'll watch repeatedly, whether in the original black-and-white for colourised version.

i smoked a bunch of salvia before forbidden zone but it didnt help because i turned into a plastic robot and dissolved into the wall and the noise and brightness of the tv became overbearing and intrusive.
i watched it later after i came down and definately enjoyed it. it's like david lynch and john waters made a film together.
