The DSi's the latest model in the DS range Jim .
The screens are slightly larger and brighter and it has 2 digital cameras, flash card reader, internet browser and a few more new things , though it's DS games compatible only as theres no GBA slot on the machine.
Its not a replacement for the DS and DS Lite , more the latest model in the DS line, as it has the same games cpu tech specs as the rest of the DS family .

I did'nt clue up on it to much as the missus has a DS lite and I dont see myself getting it.
The 09 rumoured new Gizmondo , now that would have me running down the shop's.

The Sega Game Gear Loop's, brought out in 1990 / 91 , as an answer to the excellent Atari Linx and Ninty's all conquering Game Boy.

Acclaim's CEO Dave Perry let the cat outta the bag by taking about the new PSP 2 on twitter.

The machine will not support UMD format but will use Flash memory, reworked controls and possibly a sliding screen.

There is more but thats all im telling for now. hehehe.

Gizmondo, there's a cool console that was destroyed by corruption of the highest order, a great story though.

I heard the new DSi console stops you using back-up cartridges.

I had a Gizmondo, great wee machine, and as you say great story involving the Swedish Mafia, corruption etc.

Not sure about the DSi, but I heard that as well Sic.
