Default Horror Games

The majority of the games discussed in this section are, unsurprisingly, video games - Xbox, Playstations, PCs, etc. But has anyone ever played any non-video game horror games? Board games? Ones that spring to mind are;

Zombies!!! - an incredible zombie boardgame

and

Goosebumps - I used to have this as a kid. It was one of those 3D board games - I miss it!

I have also just come across this too. A VHS HORROR GAME!!!!! Doorways To Horror it's called and it looks like great fun.

Check out this:

What about the infamous Ouija Board? Anyone used one of those before?

I remember playing Atmosfear when I was about 10/11 with the lights out and the curtains closed. It was pretty freaky and bloody scary at the time.

What's Atmosfear like Phats? Never heard of it before mate.

Me neither Vips - I'm not sure if I totally believe in Ouija Boards but I wouldn't try one, just in case. Aren't they banned in the UK anyways? Or something like that.

Yeah, the VHS game looks brilliant. There's another one like that called Nightmare apparently - It's meant to be brilliant.

And if anyone's interested, I found a link to a list of TONNES of horror board games - some old, some new, but all awesome!

Good point gag! With that game, I don't think you need to buy anything special - a bit like a card game.

From what I remember it was pretty fun. It was a board game with dice and such which you played whilst a video of a stormy night was on in the background. The gatekeeper would appear all of a sudden every now and then with an almighty crash of thunder, then would give you instructions on what you had to do. There has since been a DVD version which I haven't tried so they may have improved it somewhat.
