Default What would you Emulate for your console of choice.

I am a big fan of Retro Gaming and enjoy everything from Spectrum to PS3 - my question would be

Q/ What game/s would you Emulate and what console would you play it on.

Myself i would Emulate: The Plague, Shadow of the Beast, Blood Money, Super Mario Kart 1, Dizzy, Apidia, Axel's Magic Hammer, Grand Monster Slam, Dessert Strike and Time Bandits.

And i would like to playall of them on a PS3 if given the choice. . .

That is a great list Pete, i remember when i was younger my dad would watch the double bill horror films on the Sci-Fi channel called Sci-Fright and then after we would play Duke Nukem 3D on the PS1 untill i fell sleep.

My fiancee loves Hexen and Quake for the Sega Saturn. I find that original Sonic is underrated, i love the old soundtracks and gameplay.

I'd love to play Panzer Dragoon Saga (one of the greatest games ever made) on my PS3. I'd love to see it get the HD upgrade and I chose the PS3 because I'm just so comfortable with the PS3 controller.

Cool

Going old school here.

Speccy: HEAD OVER HEELS, WAY OF THE EXPLODING FIST, DYNAMITE DAN 2, ELITE (most of those got ported/upgraded, but changed/ruined in the process) sooo many others who's names I can't recall in the mists of time.

Amiga/ST: STUNT CAR RACER(the best party game at the time) M1 TANK PLATOON, LEMMINGS(everyone should play thru this at least once), POPULOUS, ARCHER MCLEAN'S POOL, OPERATION STEALTH and of course ZOMBIE. And now the invasion of the consoles...

Snes: almost all of em but SECRET OF MANA, EARTHBOUND, SUPER METRIOD, AXELAY in paticular. I would say SFII but so many good versions are already out there, my copy of SUPER STREET FIGHTER II only cost me about £24, easily my best bargain at the time(£59.99 retail)

Ps1: EXHUMED, RIVAL SCHOOLS, HOGS OF WAR, DARKSTALKERS, better stop there for now, now time to drag my old consoles out.

Most pre Ps2 games can easily be emulated by todays tech, even iphones, so come on companies lets have compilations of gaming bliss( just don't try and charge £10-20 a game) put a hundred or so +emulator on a game dvd and watch em fly of the shelf, giving us loads of games instantly. Tho I won't hold my breath.

I love Sunset Riders, i had a Jamma version of this in my first ever Arcade Machine some years ago, it came with another Jamma PCB called Growl which was also just as good.

I Agree with Baseball Fury about Timesplitters - They should get the latest one back on track and get it made. Some of the stills they released were really good.

I think i would add Silkworm, Choplifter, Last Hero, Space Harrier 2 and Toki to the list aswell.
