With the release of Fulci's Gates Of Hell trilogy approaching nearer and nearer (the 7th) one question remains. Which film is the best? Perhaps your a fan of The Beyond and it's unforgettable headshot, or perhaps the vomitng-up-intestines scene swings City Of The Living Dead for you? Or maybe you're a bigger fan of House By The Cemetery and just luv to see that annoying kid being terrorised. ![]() Vote now for your favourite! ARROWVIDEO'S GATES OF HELL IS OUT ON THE 7TH NOVEMBER! | City of the Living Dead, The Beyond, and The House by the Cemetery belong together. Period. They're moody and gory masterpieces, and should always be watched in a row! ![]() Greetings! |

City of the Living Dead is my fave of the three, followed by The Beyond.House by the Cemetery is my least favourite of the zombie quartet.

| Agreed. Although City might just edge it for me, it's the most Lovecraftian and atmospheric of the three IMHO.

| Beyond>City>House for me. The Beyond is also my favourite zombie film. City is also great and not far behind The Beyond, and although House is good it's not a favourite of mine.

The problem with choosing is that each time you watch one, that one becomes your favorite and so on and so on. Right now though, I would have to say... 1. City 2. Beyond 3. House But tomorrow it could easily change. |

I love all of them, but City Of The Living Dead edges it for me. There's an atmosphere in this one unlike any other Fulci.

My favourite of the trilogy has to be 'The Beyond', for the surrealism and gore - nothing makes any sense, like a good nightmare To be honest, I have always found 'House by the Cemetary' to be an incredibly slow and boring film

I always felt it should have been zombi 2 in the trilogy istead of house. It just works better for me. House doesn't have enough zombies.
