An alternative topic for this week is a variation on something which has been done previously. We've had an 'old dark house' topic but, as far as I can see, not one which is about films which, in one way or another, have a ghost, spirit, poltergeist, or another spectral manifestation.

These can vary from romance to horror, and from family films to those which are very scary and definitely not suitable for children.

Isn't the Hessian rider and Victor Crowley more a zombie than a ghost?

After all i don't think you can tough ghosts seeing as they are a soul or spirit.

Victor Crowley is technically a ghost as he is stuck in the Swamp and only actually appears at night, I wasn't too certain about the hessian hence at the bottom of the list

Doesn't that make him undead rather than a ghost?

Using that criteria vampires are ghosts as they are stuck in coffins and only appear at night.

As a legend to scare the tourists.

It's all personal opinion though. If you think he's a ghost then that's all that matters. After all i'm sure Keir will list The Thing like he always does in all culty lists.

I wonder if Demoncrat will find some convoluted explanation for including Calvaire on his list!
