I know we’ve still got September to get through, but has anyone started planning their 31 Days of Horror yet?

Currently compiling my list, which will no doubt change a few times between now and the 1st October

I have these saved to watch so far.

The Nightcomers
Pieces
Dead of Night
Night of the Demons 2
Heart of Midnight
Vampira
The Heretics
Halloween (2018)
Among the Living
The House on Elm Lake

All the discs are new to me even if as in the case of Pieces, Dead of Night and The Nightcomers i have previously owned inferior releases.

The Heretics, Among the Living and The House on Elm Lake are apparently set on Halloween so that's why they are there. I began watching Among the LIving earlier in the year and turned it off due to there being jack-o-lanterns everywhere.

There will be the usual mix of Halloween related movies and Gothic horror thrown in as well.

I don't like to plan because when I do I don't really watch much from my pile, I just play it by ear

After watching the Shameless release of The house with laughing windows recently I'm thinking of going through the shameless releases again. Like Bleakshaun I'm hoping Nightbreed will be sent out in time for halloween, other films for October

Rabid
Night Of The Demons (Original version)
Fright Night (probably both original and Remake)
Are You Afraid
Chain Letter
Witchboard
The Howling
The Crow.
