May seem a bit soon to be asking this, but my four year old is in full Christmas movie mode already! What are your favourite Christmas movies of all time? Favourite Christmas horror and what needs to be watched Christmas Eve or it isn't Christmas! Every Christmas eve I have to watch A Nightmare Before Christmas & National Lampoons Christmas Vacation or it's just another day! These films both get me in the festive mood! Favourite Christmas horror was Gremlins until Arrow released Silent Night, Deadly Night and cries of Punish filled the night! Love It!!! Guilty pleasure: Jingle all the Way! To quote the big man "Dis is really cool!" The film is so bad it's good. Scrooged is another film that needs watched during the Festive season and my wife insists in watching Muppets Christmas carol. I know it's October but I've been made to watch The Santa Clause twice this weekend already.

good idea for a thread Darth. as it is october, i don't usually start till around the end of November but out of sheer boredom, last week i watched It's A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie. I usually keep Muppet Christmas Carol till Xmas eve though. Gremlins and Die Hard will be going on in december along with The Santa ClausE 1+2 (Tim Allen) then Santa Claus The Movie and Love Actually (a Very Good Christmas Film). May spin Silent Night Deadly Night again this year too. Even thought it's not a christmas film i will probably watch Groundhog Day too followed by the more festive Scrooged. |

Nice thread Darth! I'm a sucker for Christmas Vacation as well, its just so funny, and never gets boring or dated. Got into Christmas with the Kranks over the last couple of years as well. Watched Deck the Halls last year for the first time, and whilst pretty good didn't match up to those two. I also watch old classics - Its a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street and Scrooge. The Nightmare Before Christmas always gets a viewing sometime on Christmas Eve. Finally The Polar Express is fast becoming a Yuletide regular with me. Going to watch The Santa Clause 1 and 2 for the first time this year. |

Scrooged. Gremlins. Black christmas (origional) Bad santa. Silent night deadly night 1 + 2. Christmas evil. Die hard 1 + 2. Any bond film you care to mention. Not based around xmas I know, but synonymous with xmas telly as far as i'm concerned. |
