It's a Wonderful Life is always (rightly) cited as a classic Christmas movie and it only has one Christmas-themed scene!

True. But it probably captures the 'spirit' of christmas far better than, say, The Proposition. Plus, it's always specifically shown at Christmas, unlike, er, 12 Monkeys.

Unconventional films yes, but just don't look at them as "Christmas films". But it's no biggie

Loved Santa Claus the Movie as a kid btw Good old Dudley Moore.
