Default Free Unlimited One Day Delivery Only £49

Amazon are doing this deal. But here's my question - if it costs £49, then how is that 'free'?

One Day Delivery always costs extra.

If you only order a few items a year, and if you pick One Day Delivery only once or twice, the £49 are money down the drain.

However, it's pretty nice to order an item worth three bucks and receiving it the next day without any extra P&P (that's what the word 'free' means).

Greetings!

Its something i've often thought about doing, however Amazon items usually arrive two days after shipping so it never really bothers me.

They occasionally do one month free trials, which are pretty good. Even pre-orders you make during the free trial are shipped with the one day service.

Yes, but I still can't get past the fact that this 'free' service costs £49. Not eaxctly free, is it?

But you've paid £49. Not quite 'free' is it?

Besides, I'm not impatient. I can wait a day or two for my order and spend that £49 on something else.

I had about 6 months of free Amazon Prime in the states and it was great, especially over there when stuff can take a while but I'd never pay for it. Over there you can designate up to five accounts/addresses I think which is how I got the trial twice.

I suppose if it was the same here and you could pool it, paying a tenner wouldn't be as bad but still, I'm just not in that much of a rush to pay.
