Default Scared

Come on be honest, what has proper terrirfyied you to the point of you won't sleep at night until daylight has broke and has made you sweat buckets.

I'll be honest (and don't laugh), recently I watched a few ghost vids on youtube and they have got to me (not Most Haunted) but stuff like top scariest ghost vids and they show what they caught on camera. I believe in ghosts even though I have yet to see one.

Only the "Bobby" segment of Dan Curtis's Dead Of Night has ever affected me like that. When I was 10.

The first time I read Arthur Machen's The Great God Pan it proper creeped me out, but I had no trouble getting to sleep!

The reason I believe in them was because yrs ago I was in bed and my covers were pushing against my face hard and i couldn't get them off, then finally it lightened up and i pulled them away and looked around there was nobody in the room, no footsteps or anything

This sequence from Armchair Thriller got to me after seeing it on the Channel 4 100 scariest moments countdown a few years back:

Rewatching now, it looks quite stupid.

I have to this day recurring nightmares from when I was 5 (now 24) because of ONE FILM! I watch a lot of scary stuff horror etc (obviously) ... I have not stomached up the courage to watch this film again.

The film is (the name makes me shiver).. "Fire in the sky"

At the time when I watched it we (my family) lived on a boat with one TV so they basically gave up not showing me "grown up" films.. there is no space and NOTHING to do. Being on a boat there was always bright stars at night, not seeing land made me almost feel vulnerable to space.

This film gave me the fright of my life ! never been so scared. And yes as I mentioned I still have sometimes several times a week sometimes twice a month dreams of aliens (BAD ONES) coming to beam me and my family up, i desperately spend the dream trying to get my family together and safe.
