Well, you certainly have some quality viewing ahead. You should appreciate and enjoy every single one of those films.

The Chaser is a brilliant Korean film as is The Man From Nowhere, it's like the Korean version of Taken.

Sudden Impact (1983)

Thought I'd delve into the Dirty Harry BD set again and this time around Harry's sent to a remote coastal town to investigate a murder - and to keep him out of the way. But before long another murder occurs where he's been relocated to - with the same M.O. So he starts digging deeper and uncovers a revenge plot, whereby a young woman is taking revenge on her rapists of long ago. Bit of a drop in quality on this one, I thought. It was made at the time when he was married to Sondra Locke and she's seemingly in every film Clint made during this period. Not bad overall, but it's a bit of a weak entry.

The Dead Pool (1988)

Harry finds himself on a list for a 'Dead Pool' - a gamblers lottery where they bet on which celebrity will die next. Pretty boring and there's a woeful performance from Jim Carrey and Liam Neeson is seriously miscast. Dull and avoidable. Nice BD transfer though, but that means nothing when the film itself is a bit shit. A sorry way to end such a good series. I can only hope Eastwood will come out of retirement for one last outing, but they'll probably remake it instead, as they do that these days.

The Werewolf (1956)

A stranger wanders into town and seems lost and confused. When a local tries to mug him, he turns hairy and flees to the mountains and so begins the hunt for the Wolf Man hiding in the hills. I quite enjoyed this and, being a 50's film, manages to shoehorn atomic terror into the mix by making him the result of atomic experiments. It's cheap and cheerful but it's great fun.

A Man Called Horse (1970)

Richard Harris is the Englishman in wild west America who is captured by Indians. He starts out as their prisoner but soon converts to their ways. the Vow to the Sun is probably the bit everyone remembers. Ouch! Great film this and a nice spin on the usual Western formula.

We Need To Talk About Kevin (2011)

'The point is...there is no point.'

A story is told in flashback about a couple and their son who is decidedly strange, but only the Mother seems to twig that something's wrong with Kevin. Seriously wrong. It all builds up slowly to the devastating climax. It's a powerful film and it's certainly left me thinking. It does kind of stay with you. Powerful and disturbing but brave enough to tackle the issue of maybe some kids are just born bad and there's no helping it. Ultimately quite depressing viewing, so make sure you've got something lighthearted to put on afterwards!

Clint has indeed come out of retirement already for a film called Trouble With The Curve about a baseball coach which is currently filming.
