Watched The Oblong Box & Cry of the Banshee back-to-back... Oblong Box is slightly the better I'd say.

Also watched ...And Now The Screaming Starts - A little cheesy but good fun!

I notice the same female actress plays a prominent part in all 3 films.

Just watched dream house. Was looking forward to this one as its directed by jim sheridan but its a bit lifeless. Any film that has elias koteas in briefly at the start only to dissapear for a long prtion of the film is essentially signalling the major plot reveal near the end. One nice twist aside I found the whole film very average.

The Hills have Eyes remake.
Actualy a very good movie in it's own right. Similer to the original but with enough new stuff in there to keep you entertained. Probably one of the better remakes of modern times.

I should watch this again at some point as I saw it when it came out at the cinema and thought it was really good.

oof, not sure I agree with that. I found the sequel pretty tedious, dull soldier types getting picked off one by one... plus it didn't have any Ted Levine . . .

Just finished 13 Assasin.
Oh Miike, you spoil us! Utter classic samurai movie up there with Kurosawa's 'Seven Samurai' and 'Yojimbo'.

Doesn't matter. No Ted Levine instantly knocks points off any sequel ...plus I reckon he survived that burning, being Ted Levine n' all . . .
Rik likes this.
