The PQ for Devils Backbone aint got good reviews so Im not so sure about it.
One review says it suffers from EE and another review dont mention it and says it looks better then DVD but room for improvement.
Im sure they will drop to £12 pretty quick as they are old movies. I love both DB and PL but will wait for price drop me thinks.

I'm sure that the Amazon pre-order prices (when they appear) will be cheaper.

Watched All The Boys Love Mandy Lane and The Curse.

Got ATBLML as it was only £1 in Poundstretcher and was pleasantly surprised: very well made, good premise, tongue in cheek, takes the piss out of overwrought US teen drama, good performances. No masterpiece but a nice discovery. I personally cannot accept Amber Heard as someone so attractive that everyone is obsessed by her, but once you kick the "willing suspension of disbelief" into gear everything is fine.

The Curse is a fun 80s adaptation of Lovecraft's "The Colour From Out Of Space". Directed by actor Keith David and exec produced by Lucio Fulci this is heavy on the silliness and grue and fine entertainment. However, the R1 DVD has been panned and scanned very, very badly down to 1.85:1 from an original ratio of 2.35:1 and it ruins most of the shot construction and is very distracting throughout. This film could do with a wash and brush up and a decent R2 release in OAR.

That is a good point, I'll wait until after Christmas because I constantly whinge to Kelly about what I want all the time so she may have picked it up for me already. If not, the price might drop for the January sales. I could buy it myself for my birthday

And the funny thing is it works, every Friday she finishes work at 12:30 so she pops to Brighton for a bit of shopping and 80% of the time she'll have a nice new Blu-ray or DVD (sometimes a few) to give to me. She says it's a token of how much she loves me and if she could afford it she'd buy me something everyday

Sounds like one hell of a gal.

She's perfect, my little angel!

You lucky guy! Can not beat a good Subway. Now your girl knows the way to a man's heart

Blood Feast 2. I enjoyed the cheese. I giggled when John Waters showed up.

That was a great touch and it was even better that he was playing a paedophile priest -- he was oddly convincing!
