Pengabdi Setan is good. I saw stills of it on a website a few years ago and was desperate to see it but I found out only a rare Asian Laserdisc was available. I was so excited when BCI released it - even if the quality is poor.

I have the Advantage set with 10 other Eastern Horrors in as well as the standalone of Return Of The Evil Fox and something else.

Yeah it's a film I've been interested in getting a hold of for a while too. Still waiting for the set to arrive however.

So are any of the other films include in the set worth watching? I'd seen Robo Vampire years ago on bootleg and from what I remember of the film it has to be seen to be believed! Utter poop... But fun poop!

I've also heard many things about Calamity of Snakes. Sounds mad!

I've not started watching them yet. I own the double bill of Pengabdi Setan and Corpse Master from 2006 and the latter was pretty poor imo. It was some lame spoof of vampire films, I didn't enjoy it. I hear Calamity Of Snakes is a classic.

I just got a couple of DVDs through the post. The Master Of Gore boxset I said, Cloverfield (brilliant) and Storm Warning (not seen this yet)

The Scandinavian "American Ninja Ultimate Collection" 5 disc box set:

This is prime cheese of the highest order, probably only suitable for those, who remember the VHS schoolyard-hype for this silly Cannon-fodder

"Ultimate"? yeah, right! Fullscreen, extraless- but at least it's the whole series, uncut, for a very handy price (around 14,95 Euro) in a nice enough case.

Just when you want to kill off some more braincells, it's time for the "American Ninja"!
