Default Journal of horror and erotic cinema

Anyone got/read these books.I have the first three.Loved reading in depth
analysis on some of my favourite movies.And while i'm not a student of film
(wish i was though!) they made for some very interesting reading.Would be
interested to hear from people who are familiar with these books and what your
views are on them.

Do you mean "Necronomicon"? If so I used to get it when it was still a 'zine. It was okay if I remember correctly but I preferred "Eyeball" and "Shock Xpress" from around the same time.

Yes the necronomicon series of books. I'm a little familiar with the shock xpress but I only own one edition of their books.

I think "Shock Xpress" went to 3 volumes in book form but was much better as a zine. I highly recommend the "Eyeball" book if you like a good mix of film theory and scuzz.
