I've just heard a rumour that Quentin Tarantino is going to direct a remake of ZOMBIE FLESH EATERS. I can imagine the backlash of us lot. Why not remake a crap very very low budget film that needs remaking |

That's not going to be more than a rumour since he's recently been vocal about his upcoming spaghetti western Django Unchained film. That said, I'd love so see him remake ZFE! |

I'm starting to wonder if Quentin Tarantino has a single original idea in his head. I can't help but agree with Mark Kermode on this one, that he is a gifted and obviously talented director who just seems happy to squander his talent on easy remakes in order to chase a quick buck.

Can't see him doing a Zombie flick any time soon given the amount that have been made in recent years. I do remember him saying he's thought about remaking Fulci's 7 notes in black a few years back.

What's the source for this rumour? I'll be honest here, I'll take this with a HUGE pinch of salt until I see Tarantino make any mention of it. His name always gets attached to remake-rumours - Faster Pussycat Kill Kill, The Shadow and now this. With a new film as good as confirmed as being on the way I dont see how this rumour can be true. |

Uma getting the splinter in the eye (with " i can see clearly now" on the soundtrack), half an hour of "dialogue" preceding the boat shenanigans at the start, something about fish****ing blah blah, eli roth getting his throat torn out (or would i just like this to happen for real?...hmm you decide) ![]() |

Richard Johnson, Ian McCulloch and Al Cliver would definitely have to make cameo appearences.I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of Fulci's classic, after all it doesn't affect my enjoyment of the original film.
