Dammned shame, this is a film that would really benefit from a HD release. The film is visually stunning and has an amazing soundtrack. I'm betting an extenden version will turn up eventually.

Here's a little musical aside seen as you liked the soundtrack. I loved it to, particularly the gentle opening theme that was juxtaposed with images of atomic destruction, so I did a fuzzy downtempo breaks remix:
