CONVOY was shot first and Eurocine recycled the footage.

Eurocine often did that - the movie JAIL HOUSE WARDRESS is mostly made up for footage from Jess Franco's BARBED WIRE DOLLS and REVENGE IN THE HOUSE OF USHER features scenes from THE AWFUL DR ORLOFF.


I'd like to see the Spanish cut of OASIS which has different cast members and is a bit gorier.

I have both versions and have been trying to gain some courage to see them back to back I know it won't be easy.

It's the one where a very green zombie takes a bite out of a (naked) girl, only to leave a lot of his make-up smeared over her face, resulting in howls of laughter from the viewing public?

Is that 'Zombie Lake', does anyone know?

Yep, sounds like ZL to me.

I was shocked how good the print on the Arrow DVD looks, ZL has no right to look that good!

Anyone else think this sub genre is jinxed? Don't think I've completely loved any of them. It shouldn't be that hard to get such a great premise right, but so many end up being wasted opportunities, even the half decent ones.

Read some funny stories regarding ZOMBIE LAKE, like the fact Franco was supposed to direct but vanished at the last minute so Eurocine hired Rollin who was about to go on holiday and had no idea what it was about other than it featured zombies.

And apparently in one scene the camera was running too fast so Rollin had to teach the cast to act slowly.

Not a film but the computer games WOLFENSTEIN 3D and RETURN TO CASTLE WOLFENSTEIN feature regular zombies and Nazi zombies.
