Default Nazis In Movies

Hollywood just loves Nazis!

We can't get enough of them. Name a genre and no doubt, you'll find a film with those goosestepping, swastika wearing bad guys in. From the sleazy Naziploitation films we all love to Nazi Zombie films (most notably the new War Of The Dead), to adventure films like Indiana Jones and even musicals such as The Producers, The Blues Brothers and Cabaret. And of course, those countless war films!

THEY'RE EVERYWHERE!

So here's a thread to discuss all the greatest (and worse) Nazi themed movies you have ever seen.

Share your thoughts here!

I'm still amazed that on this forum we can discuss all forms of incendiary things like Nazis through to the controversial content of A Serbian Film, but I still can't say f*ck without being censored.

But anyway, as for nasty Nazis, I do rather like Shock Waves. It's not a great film, but has a certain charm to it.

The Italian Nazisploitation cycle produced some really offensive films, which is probably why I enjoy them. Beast in Heat/SS Hell Camp is probably the most barmy and has many moments of unintentional hilarity. Just say Sal Boris and try not to laugh.

I'm not so sure, there's no Nazis in Pearl Harbor or Tora! Tora! Tora!

Or C*nt.

THE BEAST IN HEAT is probably the most 'enjoyable' film from the whole Italian Nazi genre. It's so silly, in one scene you can clearly see the crew's reflection:

'Sal Boris' (Salvatore Baccaro) is credited in another film as 'Boris Lugosi'

Yes, he's a funny little man. He's like a genetic mutation of one of the Seven Dwarves. No offence intended... well, actually, that is rather offensive of me. Nevertheless, that's what he reminds me of.

My favourite film out of the whole Italian Nazi genre is Gestapo's Last Orgy.
Despite being exploitative, the banquet scene for example, it is surprisingly competently made.
And the anamorphic version released by AWE is well worth picking up.

You forgot 'The Sound of Music'

As well as Nazi's, it also has nuns and goats

That must make it Pete's all-time favourite film!!!!!
