Default Sinister

Hi all,

Everyone looking forward to the new horror film that's coming out soon, Sinister? It's from the makers of Paranormal Activity and Insidious, stars Ethan Hawke and is set to be one of this years most terrifying movies! It's going to be incredible! I managed to get a very early sneak preview the other week and honestly, this film is easily one of the best horrors of the year. I wasn't that fond of Insidious and this blows that clean out of the water.

The new UK Quad poster was revealed yesterday on the official Facebook page and it looks very creepy.

It's not out until the 5th October, but that's going to fly by!

So who else is as excited about this?

I've not heard of this but I enjoyed the PA trilogy and Insidious so I'll no doubt check this out

I'm sure I'll give it a go, but I'm not really looking forward to it. Hollywood horror has been so unutterably poor for the last few years (and beyond) that it is hard to get excited as another supernatural/found footage thing is announced.

That it has any connection with the people behind Paranormal Activity and Insidious sets off alarm bells too.

Furthermore, I note with trepidation that it is directed by the guy who made The Exorcism Of Emily Rose and the remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still. Not a proud heritage.
