Nice link there, Vince. Interesting to see a list of the films that didn't quite make the Official list. Some entertaining films there as well like Dawn of the Mummy.

That link really saved my day, Vince...as it made me muse about the excitement of the hunt for some of the more "hard to get" titles in the VHS age
I fondly remember my Greek, uncut VHS ex rentals of "Tenebrae" and "Rosemary's Killer", not to mention the various Dutch and Danish tapes with HUGE subtitles....at least they were uncensored, eh

When I revisit some flicks on that "borderline nasties" list on the shiny disc, I just wonder if we shouldn't "thank" the censors and "do-gooders" for a decent portion of that 80's magic....Makes one appreciate these flicks in their 21st century digital upgrade so much more!

Great link Vincenzo. How up to date is it as far as availability goes?

Most of those are available uncut here now bar Cannibal (Last Cannibal World) and Maniac, which are still edited. The former would still receive cuts if resubmitted now but the latter could possibly make it through intact. It would be close though.

No UK DVD releases yet of Mother's Day, I Drink Your Blood, Terror Express, Werewolf Woman, Demented or Blue Eyes Of The Broken Doll.

Haven't seen Mr No Legs, how nasty is it then?

I've seen the uncut Violation of the Bitch. Some pretty strong violence although it is still tamer than most of the nasties that I have seen. I think the pre cert was cut anyway ie missing the hardcore stuff.

I once read that Tourist Trap was a near nasty although it does look very tame now.

Amazing Mr No Legs is very tame & also very funny.Directed by Ricou Browning who played the gillman in the Creature From The Black Lagoon.Getting Even (1976) with its nasty rape sequences fell beneath the radar.
