What's everyone's views on the recent glut of Superhero movies?

I like them. I even enjoyed the very much maligned "Daredevil" and "Fantastic Four" films. I was into comics long before I was into films.

I enjoyed the first 2 Spider-Man films (not too struck on the 3rd) and thought Iron Man was great fun. Fantastic Four had its moments but not enough of them for me.

I don't think that there has been a genuine turd yet, though X-Men: The Last Stand sails pretty close to the wind and I have consciously avoided Electra.

I saw "Electra" and the experience was so bad for me that I've blocked it out of my mind ever since. Cheers for the reminder.

The last was my favourite too & I loved Daredevil.The new Superman film was very tedious though & I much preferred Reeve in the role.

I didn't like the new Superman film either. A resounding flop in every department. They're still planning a follow up with the same director and cast due out in 2011. More action and humour is needed.

Superman Returns did nothing for me either and it seemed to go on forever. Of Reeve's original quartet I still reckon Superman II was the best.
