Moving this thread; the Cult Labs Presents section is only for Cult Labs titles... By the way you can now use the new spoiler tag to protect content from being seen by people who haven't yet seen the film. Like this:
Hidden until you click 'show'!
You use it like this:
Text to hide
|

Bumping an old thread, but I really enjoyed this film, unlike 90% of people I know and most critics. I love the threads that run through all three of Richard Kelly's movies, alternate universes, time travel, destiny. He's an art movie director dressed up in the mainstream, so when he does something impenetrable (err, Southland Tales and The Box), the mainstream just freaks out.

blockbuster will be getting the Box as a rental exclusive before its general release. looking forward to it, Richard Kelly's the kind of director you either love him or hate him.

| The Box is based on a short story by Richard Matheson called Button, Button, originally adapted for the Twilight Zone in 1970.

I was really intrigued by it for the first half then really confused for the second,it reminded me of Lost(the tv show) not in its plot but in the way it develops.
