The next "Must Watch" Cult Canidate: "Drive"

Well, if not.... I just watched this yesterday on the big screen and I can hardly remember the last time a flick got me into such a raving mood:
If this isn't the next big cult classic to come, then I don't know:

Powerful, moving, violent as hell, atmospheric, haunting, gripping- anbd very well acted- the soundtrack is a real killer too

I'm nowhere near as high on Drive as you all seem to be. I agree on the great soundtrack, but it's a pretty empty film posing as existentialist. Ryan Gosling was dead behind the eyes as ever. It seems more and more he believes that standing still and looking into the distance constitutes meaningful acting. It's like Eastwood, minus the quality, depth and, to be honest, talent. Not to say I dislike Gosling, in fact I do think he's perfectly serviceable in most roles. But I don't think his performance, or the picture in general, deserve anywhere near as much praise as they have engendered.

Really sad that I missed this in the theatres. Anxious to catch it ASAP!
