| Dawn Of The Dragon Slayer, whilst made for very little money, has some superb effects! As one reviewer has said, '...The special effects and underscoring were incredibly impressive. The dragon itself looked phenomenal... ' There's been plenty of other low budget features that have incredible special effects, from Monsters to Troll Hunter. But there's also plenty of crap special effects for equally crap low budget messes (that are often so bad their good), like Sharktopus So which low budget movies have the best or the worst special features? Which films need to be applauded for their awesomeness or their turd-iness? Share your thoughts here! ---------------------------------- Dawn Of The Dragon Slayer is out now from Anchor Bay on DVD and Blu-Ray and can be ordered from here.

I know its not CGI, but if you want horrendous FX you can't do much better than "The Giant Claw".

Ok, so it was a long time ago but one of the worst cases of CGI that I've seen has to be in The Langoliers - some Stephen King adaptation. Imagine different coloured Pac-Men eating a plane and you have a little of the awful CG image that was used. In big budget movies, the worst CG that I remember was in Along Came A Spider. The car accident at the beginning was pitiful. The car had no weight to it. |

How about Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation for bad low budget CGI? |

yeah the CGI in the Langoliers is really Poor, anything made by the Asylum. There's a film called S.S DoomTrooper that has some of the worst CGI i've ever seen.
