Alice and Black Stone Cherry as support is one hell of a bill.

Black Stone Cherry have just headlined these arena dates in the UK.

DECEMBER 2018

Cardiff Motorpoint Arena – Thu 6th
Newcastle Metro Radio Arena – Fri 7th
Glasgow SECC – Sun 9th
Manchester Arena – Mon 10th
Birmingham Arena – Tue 11th
Leeds First Direct Arena – Thu 13th
London The SSE Arena Wembley – Fri 14th

As long as they have longer than half an hour to play that's proper value for money.

So there was also another smaller venue tour prior to Theatre of Death.
Hardly a tour!

The show at the Sheffield City Hall on May 29th, 2006, was a one-off as a warm up for the headline appearance at the Monsters Of Rock festival on June 3rd, 2006. Around the same time, Alice also appeared at Vicar Street in Dublin on May 31st, 2006 and the Villa Marina in Douglas on the Isle of Man on June 1st, 2006

Yes and no with regards to the 2011 tour. Alice visited
  • Sheffield City Hall
  • Bristol Colston Hall
  • Birmingham NIA
  • London Alexandra Palace
  • Manchester Apollo
  • Glasgow Clyde Auditorium
While most of those venues are theatres, I would class both the NIA and Ally Pally as arenas

Similarly, Raise The Dead was also a mixture of theatres and arenas:
  • Cardiff Motorpoint Arena
  • Wolverhampton Civic Hall
  • Bournemouth BIC
  • London Wembley Arena
  • Nottingham Royal Concert Hall
  • Edinburgh Usher Hall
  • Sheffield City Hall
Cardiff and Wembley are both arenas

I was referring to tours which were wholly and solely in smaller venues

I had no idea that the 2006 Sheffield show was just a one-off! btw It was a lot of fun and it certainly didn't hurt that we were pretty darn close to the front. Living in Nottingham at the time, meant that it was also quite easy to train commute to the concert. Great night, my wife was excited to be so near to Alice.

There are no obvious gaps in the dates now so if there was to be anything, October is looking very likely.

Received the Spanish Monster Dog blu-ray today. It's a pressed disc and not a BDR (phew). Won't have the opportunity to properly view it until the 4th of March as it's my birthday present. But I did have a sneak peek and PQ was quite decent. It was also nice to see it in widescreen (1.66:1). The lone 'music video' extra, which is just a clip from the film, causes blu-ray players to freeze. A Spanish Amazon customer review mentioned this and I can confirm it. I had to unplug my player to fix it. Luckily the film itself is said to play just fine.
