Hey guys/gals

I have been "producing" music since I was like 15 on the old Ejay software
:lol and then moved onto FLStudio around 6/7 years ago I think.

I only do it as a hobby so am not very good and I doubt alot of people here would like my stuff as it is electronic/dance music

I used to work in an all night Hard House/Trance/Prog House/ Dance club in Belfast so I love Dance music, but I prefer Rap now.

Im not on My Space so I cant hear your stuff Nekro.

I like Souvenir - especially that kind of backing saw synth line. FLStudio has come a long way since the Fruity Loops days - does it now support VSTs?

I've only recently(ish) stopped the old computer music thing. I did use Cubase and Reason to sequence, and Halion to sample. At times I really enjoyed it, but I rarely had the motivation to expand on an initial couple of loops. My rapidly declining appreciation for 95% of dance music didn't help, because it meant I was trying to create very non-formulaic stuff without it sounding like an arty doodle fart! I did learn quite a bit, though.

It's cool that you can just throw your tunes up on Myspace and invite an audience. Do you use a MIDI controller/keyboard, or sequence manually?

Vips you dont need to be on myspace to listen and I hate rap/rnb the most

and Rob cheers , FLstudio has been supporting VSTs for quite a while now. From version 2 I think.

And Yeah 90% of the stuff you hear on radio and TV is really bad but I call real dance music..electronic Cant really call radio stuff dance as its more pop. You should listen to real dance music like Laidback Luke, Arno Cost, Armin Van Buuren, Crystal Method etc

The Club I worked for hosted Jeremey Healy, Alex P, ( good guy) Brandon Block, Tall Paul, (tosser) Darren Emerson , Marc Moore (theres a story) Mario Puzo Lisa Pin up (hehehe, sorry , another story) Lisa Lashes, etc.

I loved the Tidy Tracks stuff, Dutch & German Gaba etc, but a guy owed me some money and he give me his import Rap collection in return. This was pre Eminem so rap was'nt really mainstream yet but it blew me away.

The term R'n'B confuses me as R'n'B to me is Nine Below Zero, Dr Feelgood, The WHO etc all bands I love, yet theres another type of music called R'n'B thats completely different .

She was great fun at the afterparty, see played a half hr set as she was still full of 'engery ' upstairs in the private chillout room for the staff and selected guests.

I'll check out My Space later tonite on the missus's laptop.
