Theatre of Tragedy - And when He Falleth - The Masque of the Red Death.

The track incorporates 2 mins of dialogue between Vincent Price and Jane Asher. Beginning at the four minute mark.

Oasis (What's The Story) Morning Glory, and I know I am years late to the party but at the time when they were releasing this album I was 12. Way too young to like them in any depth. So recently I have been buying their albums. Upto now I own 5,

What's The Story
Be Here Now
Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants
Heathern Chemistry
Stop The Clocks

I didn't know there was one on the way.

The funny thing is, a 3 disc set might actually ruin the album.

The beauty of it was the fact it was a stripped down dirty rock n' roll album. A short sharp shock to the music business at the time, so full of attitude it hurts.

I never 'got' Oasis

I thought they were very over-rated, and had to resort to constantly swearing during interviews to gain any kind of publicity

Musically, and attitude-wise, the Sex Pistols did it much better many years earlier!

Still on the HPL.....

The Shunned House...proving that where there is smoke etc......an unusual entry in the canon, Dreams in the Witchhouse it aint!

Pickman's Model......art imitates life, felt that the rather odd ending spoiled this, one of his great short stories, meh, one of the great short stories....as I says ye don't need to faff about with this stuff.

The Thing On The Doorstep...for all the versions of TSOI that there are, this "companion" story is sadly not as well served. Cthulhu knows why, as it is really creepy in places.

The Horror At Red Hook. Easily his most transparently "personal" tale in the canon, as the blatant racism does spoil the vibe somewhat....

Haunter Of The Dark....not a great version, as the ST gets in the way, pity as tis a hoot.

I also like music......
