The only time ive caught anything thrown into the Audience was Megadeth at the London Astoria 2007, i caught the Drum Stick, and in the slickest of slick movements had it up my sleeve before anyone noticed, but gave it too my friend as thats the kind of guy i am.

The only things i've ever caught were guitar picks from Ratt and Skid Row.

Thanks for the recommendations Dem, Rik. They have United Abominations in the local cex for £3 so I'll buy that one next. THESE DAYS was the last Bon Jovi album I really liked, used to play it to death. The newer ones you recommended I haven't heard but I'll try them out.

As for catching things at gigs, my first ever proper gig was a solo John Squire (of Stone Roses) gig at the Carling Academy as it was then known in Brum. The drummer chucked his drumstick out and I managed to grab it. Been to probably 70-80 gigs since and got nothing... except a signed T-shirt and a hand shake from Nils Lofgren... I haven't washed my hand since

Speaking of John Squire, I was at the Seahorses' first UK gig in Sheffield, back in 1997, and after pushing my way to the front, I managed to shake hands with him, cleverly pinching the plectrum out of his hand while doing so

After forty years of life dedicated to AC/DC, guitarist and founding member Malcolm Young is taking a break from the band due to ill health. Malcolm would like to thank the group’s diehard legions of fans worldwide for their never-ending love and support.

In light of this news, AC/DC asks that Malcolm and his family’s privacy be respected during this time. The band will continue to make music.
