He's not OK, he's a spaced out mess! Have you seen live footage of them recently? Also, he's notorious for no-showing to tours/shows, which just pisses fans off. being a rastafarian is no excuse, the rest of the band are fine!

Well think about it this way...

They had their 15 minutes (and more) back in the 80's... they were basically pioneers of a whole musical genre. These dudes are getting old man, H.R would be in his mid 50s by now. On top of that, Other than devoted punkers...Who even listens to this genre anymore? Everyone is all into that repetitive beat auto tuned bullshit!

Jello Biafra is a legend!

A few weeks ago I went to an Op Shop and picked up a little comedy film called 'Tapeheads' which stars John Cusack and Tim Robbins. Picked it up for just 50 cents, It was a bargain!
Anyway, I'd never seen it before and a great little surprise popped up at the very end...
A cameo from Jello Biafra!
He has a small part as an FBI agent with a few lines, His biggest being "Remember what they did to Jello Biafra."
It was hilarious!

Nick Blinko finally has a book of his art work published. Here's a pic of Nick with David Tibet who's Coptic Cat press are publishing the book, and also the book. It's called "Visions of Pope Adrian 37th". Just ordered it, cost £41.00 with postage. Good job the limited edition had gone or I'd be short £130!

Here is some more Blinko stuff I own. 2 drawings, his novels "The Primal Screamer" and "The Haunted Head" which came with a one track Peni cd and a page of the handwritten manuscript. I've also got "Under the Asylum Tree" a collection of poetry by Survivors of the Mental Health System, to which Blinko adds 3 illustrations, "Gobbing and Pogoing and Gratuitous Bad Language:An Anthology of Punk Short Stories" which includes his illustrated "Punk Alice" and "Mad Pride:A Celebration of Mad Culture" to which Blinko adds "Cuckoos Don't Make Nests"- a rather free stream of madness or not, depending on your point of view.
