Yes those bands are Hardcore Punk in the proper sense of the words, mate, and damn good they and thier like are too. I like all forms of Punk, except what people today define as Punk (Blink 182, Green Day, Offspring etc.......) sorry if i upset anyone, but i am a purist.

I'm a kid of the 90's so I grew up on The Offspring, But I know what you mean.

Uckk, I really despise of Blink-182 and Greenday...Terrible bands!!!

Now this is more my thing, excellent posts here........I have early bootlegs of the Pistols from Sid being being on bass BEFORE he met Nancy,and actually playing not to badly....simple, but not bad.

Love the Blak Flag post too, TV PARTY is my fave of theirs

During the nineties, i was a huge Nirvana supporter, and do enjoy bands like the Offspring, but i dont class them as Punk, but you ARE right about Blink and Green Day.....AWFUL BANDS, I actually fell asleep watching G.D in 2005 on the American Idiot tour at the Birmingham NIA

My sister was a huge Nirvana supporter also. I listened to them a bit, But now I just find their music so plain and boring.
