Uncle Alice returns to the UK for his Halloween 2012 shows Dates October 2012 24th Cardiff Motorpoint Arena 25th Wolverhampton Civic Hall 27th Bournemouth BIC 28th London Wembley Arena 30th Nottingham Royal Concert Hall 31st Edinburgh Usher Hall November 2012 1st Sheffield City Hall Support act is apparently Ugly Kid Joe and Duff McKagan's Loaded (all dates except Sheffield) Apparently Alice will have a whole new stage show and set list, and looking at the size of the venues, it could be a very theatrical show

Nothing in the North either. A poor show really. Edit - Never noticed Sheffield. But even thats getting nearer the midlands than north. |

| Is that a big problem for ye in England that everyone just plays around London? Here its mainly Dublin so every gig is taking time off work staying in a hotel works out very expensive in the end.

I need to see an Alice Cooper show eventually, I've been a fan for a long time (well 1989..) and I've still managed to not see him in concert ever! And yes it's becoming more of a trend for tours to miss out the north, yes Liverpool gets a lot of gigs, but the venues we have here is either small (O2 Academy) or massive (Echo Arena) and not much in between, Manchester gets the medium sized gigs with the Apollo but a lot of the time it's a trip to London with an overnight stay - which I do enjoy but can only do that a couple of times a year really. |

Apparently, the UK dates will be the first ones of a new tour - 'Welcome 2 My Nightmare', which is supposedly splint into three sections: CLASSIC ALICE TRACKS, A "NIGHTMARE" SECTION WITH TRACKS FROM THE ORIGINAL ALBUM "WELCOME TO MY NIGHTMARE" AND HIS MOST RECENT ALBUM "WELCOME 2 MY NIGHTMARE", FOLLOWED BY AN ENTIRELY NEW CONCEPT THAT HE WON'T REVEAL. ALSO IN THE WORKS IS A NEW EXECUTION (possibly a 'woodchipper'!

I wish Alice would play a few tracks from his MCA days. Freedom, Roses on White Lace, Teenage Frankenstein, The World Needs Guts and Prince of Darkness are all as good as any of his classic tracks, even He's Back would be really good. |
