Default Mano-A-Mano Madness!

Who here wants a piece of me? Let's take it outside for a nice bit of fisty-cuffs.

Whilst it may be true that I'm a trained proffesional martial arts ninja, when it comes to hand-to-hand combat the champion has got to be Iko Uwais from The Raid, but what are cinema's other great combat heroes?

What mano-a-mano, one-on-one fight scenes are your favourite in all of cinema? Fighting with melee weapons are okay, but gun battles don't count here!

Share your favourites here...

Roddy Piper in They Live. Just barmy.

I love jackie Chan's rooftop fight in Who Am I?, which culminates in the slide down the Willemswerf Building in Rotterdam. (Not on the video)

I was just about to suggest Predator but there's weapons in that. Mano-a-aleino?

My favourite Mano-A-Mano has to be the Jackie Chan fight in Drunken Master 2 in the coalhouse, jaw droppingly impressve stuff. Although most of his fights are.

After watching it recently though I noticed that it's pretty much the same fight that Demdike mentions in regards to the fight on top of the roof in Who Am I? It's the same actor playing the nemesis and some of it is almost shot for shot identical.
