Default Extra Comp - Dawn Of The Dragon Slayer - 07/02/2012 - FINISHED

Hello Competition fans!

Along with the weekly competition this week, I've decided to treat you guys to a very cool extra comp too! Up for grabs is a copy of Dawn Of The Dragon Slayer which is a brilliant film, a lot of fun and has some very nice Dragon effects in.

I'm sure most of you have yet to see this film so what better way to indulge in those dragon fantasies of yours than with this competition! So, here's all the details...

DAWN OF THE DRAGON SLAYER

To become a hero, he must battle a legend.

When Will’s father is killed by a dragon, Will leaves his once-idyllic home in the mountains to hunt down the beast. The trail of slaughter leads him on an epic journey across the lowlands. When he reaches an ancestral home, he finds others who know about the dragon and stays to work for the tyrannical Sterling (Ian Cullen, Z Cars, Doctor Who) in order to learn how to slay the beast.

Will is befriended by Sterling’s daughter Kate, and she prepares him for the final battle with the dragon. But Sterling, threatened by Will, orders his men to kill the young squire. Will manages to escape with his life, but he must risk everything to destroy the dragon so that can avenge his father’s death and prove himself a man.

Check out the trailer...

Anchor Bay are due to release Dawn Of The Dragon Slayer on the 13th of February on both DVD and Blu-Ray.

And here's the rules...

Dragons are awesome. Yeah, I said it. And you know it. And you love it! Sadly, there's not that many dragon films around. According to IMDb, there's only 166 movies with the keyword 'dragons'. Yet sticking a dragon in any film is bound to make things interesting.

So, simply come up with a film which would've been better with an added dragon or two and, if you want to, explain why.

Imagine Titanic with a huge water dragon! Or Waterboy in which a dragon kills off Adam Sandler within the first 5 minutes, making that and every film he appeared in afterwards much better.

Make sense? Of course it does!

So, have some fun!

You can enter as many times as you like and the competition is open to everyone; it's worldwide!

On the Friday the 17th five of the best entries will be picked by yours truly and they'll each recieve Dawn Of The Dragon Slayer on DVD or Blu-Ray (their choice, of course).

So, good luck! Have a laugh - don't take it too seriously.

If you really want to impress, you could always photoshop a dragon into a famous movie scene

Good luck again,

Kyle

@iluvjudaspriest - "Waterboy in which a dragon kills off Adam Sandler within the first 5 minutes"

How unfair! You have just won your own competition.

Take no notice of Pete iluvjudaspriest, i've seen posts from Pete on here where he states he doesn't even know what music is, never been to a gig etc.

Dawn of the Dragon Slayer does sound like an album title by Rhapsody of Fire or the mighty Dragonforce i do admit.
