Sorry for this comp being slightly later than usual, but here it is and what a cracker of a prize too...

The movie that has generated lots of buzz among horror aficionados both at home and abroad finally arrives on DVD in the UK this July! Director Joe Chien’s call out to people to invest in the flick was successful and almost 900 fans helped fund the making of

Taiwan’s first ever Zombie movie!

After a catastrophic accident at a top secret research lab, a deadly virus is released into the city and all hell breaks loose.

Controlled by a local crime lord, District 108 is the one place in the city the police don’t want to go on a normal day. But today is not a normal day, and the crack SWAT team ordered to help evacuate the uninfected must do just that. Met with fierce resistance by the local gangs, both sides suffer heavy casualties before realising that the guys with the guns aren’t the real enemy: the zombies are!

With ammunition running low, the two sides join forces to fight for the only thing worth fighting for: a chance to escape from the city and the zombies currently running loose in it!

Just in case you didn't know, it's the Olympics. Horray (I guess). I've never been a big sports fan, but there is one thing that would make me watch...

ZOMBIES!

Imagine a time after the zombie apocalypse, the last few survivors have rebuilt their city (safeguarded by barbed wire and the army), the population is starting to grow again and now people are using zombies as entertainment. A little like Roman Gladiators.

What would be some of the events of the zomlympics? Simply come up with the funniest or most awesome zombie sporting event idea!

The three best will be selected on Sunday and rewarded with this very funny, gory and oh so sleazy zombie film!

Instead of the Decathlon, how about the Dieathlon, 10 death defying events spread over 2 nights!
Night One
1. 100 metres shuffle(no 28 Days Later/DOTD remake zombies)
2. Long Jump(into a pit of rotting flesh instead of sand)
3. Shot put(fallen zombie comrades head throwing)
4. High Jump(over farmyard fence)
5. 400 metres sprint(28 Days Later/DOTD remake zombies ok)

Night Two-
6. 110 metres hurdles(over crashed cars)
7. Discus throw
8. Javelin throw
9. Pole vault
10. 1500 metres free for all

Tug of War : You cling on to your friend or family members hands as a group of hungry zombies grab onto their feet and try to rip them in half, spilling their guts out like a Pinata!

Frisbee : Attempt to decapitate a zombie with a normal household frisbee!

Synchronised Zombie vs Shark Swimming : Watch the majestic great white try to swim circles round the rotting flesh of the undead.

See the once great Iron Mike Tyson get in the ring with Bub (Day of the Dead fame).

Hang Tough

Just like good ole classic British Gladiators with Jet & Wolf etc you attempt to swing from one podium to the other side with those pesky Gladiators in your way from getting to the other platform......now with the added danger of falling into the net below to be greated by a hungry horde of flesheaters!

Zombie Marathon:The flesh eaters compete to this 42 km race by using a juicy young woman as a decoy who runs to escape them.Bloodorade is offered to the rot-walkers along the way to keep them stimulate!

Introducing the Zombie Pole Vault! It's just like ordinary pole vaulting, except competitors have to spear as many zombies on their pole before their final launch into the air. They get bonus points depending on how many undead are still on the pole once they've cleared the bar.

There's aplenty of disciplines, just a few:

- Zombie Head Wide Kicking - the good thing is that a vast amount of fresshly cut off heads is guaranteed, making it easier for the judges to see the first dropping point after the kick. For the kickers, there is the choice of using Wellingtons, but each using these gets a sissy malus, so if a non-Wellington kicker reaches the same distance, he/she wins.

- Floater Canoe Slalom - jump on a zombie and have a wild-water ride, but do not take too narrow turns - you may hear the theme tune from Rip-Tide otherwise.

- Zombie Lifting - a bit like weight lifting, but combined with specials, not only the higher weight wins, the more a corpse is decomposed and is held in shape, the more points you get.

- Colon Bungee Jump - high risk this one, you can select the colon yourself shortly before the jump, no insurance on mispicks, you'll just leave a splatting image.

- Intestine Diving - nasty stuff, recover items from a pool of gooey intestines - nose clips from synch swimming are highly recommended!
