Default Killer Dolls!

Hello!

Perhaps two of the most well known (and scariest) Twilight Zone episodes centre around a doll who seems to have a life of its own. First there was Season 3's The Dummy with an animate ventriloquist dummy and then Season 5 saw the creepist doll you'll ever see with The Living Dolll and the unforgetable line 'My name is Talky Tina and I'm going to kill you!'.

Eek!

But how do these hold up compared to other evil living dolls? Vote above and be sure to share any other films/TV shows with evil dolls below...

I loved The Dummy. The way the dummy always changed position each time Cliff Robertson looked away from it then looked back was probably the creepiest thing about the whole episode.

The Twilight Zone's sister show Night Gallery had a killer doll episode that was pretty enjoyable and creepy.

Black Devil Doll is a strange little film - definitely recommended if you're after watching something a bit different.

Stuart Gordon's Dolls is probably my favourite 'killer doll' film, although I do have great fondness for The Dummy TZ episode. I don't think I've seen The Living Doll episode, so can't comment on that one.

There is a film from Korea entitled "Inhyeongsa" (2004) [English title "The Doll Master"] which I quite enjoyed

My brain is like a sieve. I have that and watched it a few months ago. All I remember us a bunch of young people being invited to the doll maker's, a creepy woman in a wheelchair and that one of the young girls was really annoying.

Remember it being quite good though and creepy in parts.

I really hated the music on that Youtube clip!

I think the quality of animatronics on Chucky, the look of Chucky, his one liners and the quality of direction of the Child's Play films, put other killer doll movies to shame.

So I think the Child's Play series are definately the best possesed doll movies.

I love the concept / look of scary dolls so it's a pity there aren't more films similar the the Child's Play series.
