So how does it work when you chose the artwork, using pre-used art? Do you contact the company that commissioned the art or does the right holder of the film "own" all artwork that's created for the film in each area?
I'm just wondering because sometimes companies used horrible art for their covers when awesome art had been made years before, I'm looking at you Anchor Bay. It was so bad that I created custom covers for many of their titles.

I love this panel - sure it's super naughty lie-fest jump-on-the-bandwagon but it's exploitation marketing done with considerable style.

This varies depending on the film etc but usually the main issue is getting hold of good enough quality materials - that often kills off artworks getting used.

I'd never have guessed that you woked in PR Almar! I knew you'd put a postive spin on that poster.

As much as I don't like it, it's still worthy of inculsion for it's sheer cheek.

Seems so sad then that many companies put no effort in finding that stuff. I mean if I could find stuff online that was high res enough to make the cover I wanted why didn't they bother doing it. I asked somebody online to scan the cover for Cut and Run and after doing some minor touch ups I slapped together a cover that was far superior to the disaster that AB put on there.

I'm liking the three artworks (even though I prefer the overly red version of Rick's panel)! Here's to hoping the beautiful Humphreys art will be chosen tomorrow!

It seems that all of you wanted it, that it was by far the most popular on Reaper's fan poll and, as luck would have it, Arrow had selected it as the fourth panel.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you artwork panel #4:

Yeeeeaahh! Love it! Great range of art for this release.

Just wish the tagline read "A special girl..with special powers...and a very special Chimpanzee!"
