Default Would you sell Or Refuse??

Ok so someone comes along, likes the look of your Dvd collection and offers you 3 times their value,

do you accept and sell the lot?

do you say no sorry they mean to much to me

Or something else (Specify)

Personally I spent so many years collecting mine and spent years trying to get hold of some, and I watch so many I would be lost without them and would never part with them for any amount.

Well,it would depend on the situation i suppose.
What if you were going through a messy divorce, and were forced to sell your house, but someone comes along and offers to buy your collection and in effect bail you out.
Bye,bye dvds, hello roof over me head.

Anyone wanna make an offer for my collection?

Good answers, so overall it comes down to "I would never part with them unless it was the difference between a home or not". That is true, some funny responses there I only own 1 film on the film 2000 label myself.

I will outbid you at £2.01

Well I'd have always said - I'd never sell but as you'll see I voted different...

I've been collecting seriously since 1990 BUT back in 2004 when I needed to move down to London and was seriously broke as a result of being a freelance journalist (nobody ever pays you on time - especially the BBC!) I had to raise some moolah and sold thousands of DVDs, videos, rental store standees (including a man-sized Pulp Fiction video box that opened-up into a comic), magazines - the lot! Broke my heart but all that effort got me to London, set me up, let me move to be with who was to then become my future wife and start a new career. So it was worth it.

I still wistfully recall the old collection - it was bollocks all that talk that one day everything on tape would come out on DVD. Plus what did would be without wacky covers! Hence probably why I force such DVD cover indignities upon you lovely people.

Of course I have a new collection these days - back in the thousands but not with tapes and overall just not as good - don't have the space and now eBay sellers think anything old and crap is worth a fortune plus it's not as much fun as it was discovering tapes in old rental stores.

so I've already sold-up once. Probably wouldn't again as there would be no point - I sold my DVDs just before they got crazy cheap.

I did the same with thousands of videos since the dawn of dvd.I've waited years for certain titles to eventually surface on disc.Blu ray?-Shove it!
I'd go homeless before I sold the lot........
