Since i think i was the first to originally suggest reissuing Fulci's Dulwich deadster donation it certainly wouldn't look good if i didn't put a positive vote in for a COTLD re-release! We can but live in hope.

I just got the AWE dvd of City and the transfer is amazing.

I'm sure i recall hearing that AWE's DVD uses the same transfer as No Shame's Italian edition. Any idea if this is true or does the Danish release boast a stunning new print all it's own? I'd like to think so despite Italy's issue trouncing the U.K., U.S. and EC DVDs when it comes to PQ.

I havent seen the italian disc but it wouldnt suprise me if AWE used the same transfer.

Neither would i but that's o.k. as i have the Italian DVD and by far it's the best looking COTLD i have seen. Cleaner than Vipco and EC's non-anamorphic editions and devoid of that annoying fine layer of grain that infests the ABUS print from start to finish. It would be nice if No Shame's superior transfer made an appearance on U.K. shelves sooner or later.

As long as they look good, I dont mind where they get the transfers from. It would be great if Arrow could use that transfer as well as the 5.1 track from the us disc.
