Prisoner Actor Sightings

I thought I'd start this thread so that we can post clips of any Prisoner stars we've spotted in other TV shows.

Here's Maggie Kirkpatrick (The freak) as Ivy Hackett, the self styled, real estate duchess of RICHMOND HILL, a soap produced by Grundys also for TEN - the same network which screened Prisoner. However, this 1987 soap opera was not a commercial success and only lasted a year.

Also in it are Amanda Muggleton (Chrissie Latham) who played the town pub's barmaid, Connie Ryan and who can be seen acting opposite Maggie in the opening scene and Tim Elston who was Dr Scott Collins in Prisoner.

All three had leading roles in the series.

Notice, the scripwriters' cheeky reference to the Ferguson deal in this clip. Ha ha!

Here's a clip from 1990s TV series, Minder featuring appearances by Terry Gill (Inspector Grace) and a fleeting glimpse of Carole Skinner behind the bar who played the villainous and very memorable Nola McKenzie in Prisoner



Here's a clip of Prisoner's Helen Smart as Cheryl Starke in a 1996 episode of Neighbours. When actress, Caroline Gillmer fell ill, she was replaced in the role for 6 weeks by Prisoner co star, Colette Mann who had played Doreen Anderson/Burns in the Wentworth drama



Here's a 2003 episode of Neighbours overflowing with former Prisoner stars.

It features appearances by Janet Andrewartha (Reb Keane), Maggie Millar (Marie Winter); sitting beside Maggie is Tom Oliver who played Ken Pearce, love interest of Bea Smith and finally standing in the wings we have Ian Smith who played 'the man from the department', Ted Douglas

Here's actress, Zoe Bertram who can currently be seen playing the part of high class hooker, Randi Goodlove in volume 13 episodes as Paul Robinson's polish cleaner, Lorraine Dowski in Neighbours.

These days, actress and comedienne Jane Turner, who can currently be seen playing blind gun runner, Belinda Johns in volume 13 episodes is best known for her starring role in the cult sitcom, Kath and Kim.

Here she makes an appearance on the Graham Norton show. Prisoner even merits a mention
