Harry and Valerie Spalding (Ray Barrett & Jennifer Daniel) arrive in the remote Cornish village of Clagmoor Heath to an unwelcoming and suspicious population, victims of a seeming plague they refer to as the “Black Death”. Harry’s brother dies suddenly, bitten by a lethal reptilian bite. They befriend a young woman, Anna (Jacqueline Pearce) whose tyrannical father, Dr Franklyn, controls her life and, as they discover others in the village have suffered a similar fate, their investigations lead back to Anna. What they uncover is a victim of the most terrifying legacy - a destiny of mutilation and murder

It's a shame they felt the need to photoshop around with the original poster art. Looked super cool as it was! Same with the Zombies cover. Just sayin . . .

That's one of the problems I have with these. Would've been a great opportunity to use classic Hammer artwork, but noooooo. Seems that companies think they know what people want. They don't! Well, either that, or they don't care.

I'm sure more people want a good cover than an original cover! There's nowt wrong with those Hammer sleeves. They look fine.

I think we each represent opposing extreme views to which most punters do not adhere!

Very true. Didn't buy Rolling Thunder because of the cover, where most people couldn't care less about it. Anyway, back to Hammer.
