I've watched my check disc and put my review up today -- what an excellent package.

Yeah, it was surprisingly good fun for a rape-revenge movie! I think the '80s setting has a lot to do with it with the big hair, shoulder pads and soundtrack. It's also one hell of a disc and I can't wait to get hold of the full package with the poster, booklet and artwork.

No offense, but isn't an Arrow associate review of their own company's release a bit of a conflict of interest?

If you're talking about my review, I'm able to work independently and look at things objectively as a film reviewer and do my 'day job' (which is as an employee of Cult Laboratories, not Arrow Video) without one impacting on the other.

If that wasn't the case, I would have given Savage Streets five stars for the film and the disc!

Hmm its a NTSC-PAL conversion according to BD Beaver.
Not usually a fan of conversions.

Arrow said it was a native PAL encoding taken especially for this release, so I'm not sure where they got that information from.

well it in the 4th screencap you can see combing quite clearly. This aint to do with conversion but with Interlacing.
