How long are we making the lists? It needs standardising.

Yeah 100 sounds good to me. Hope no one minds that I took it upon myself to start the thread. I was the one that took the other thread off topic.

I did suggest someone start a thread to stop sci-fi chat on the other thread.

You must not have noticed.

I think we need some sort of criteria here otherwise the poll could be full of Frankenstein's and The Thing type films.

Not at all - this having its own thread would be a good way to gauge interest.

Plus, people are free to make all the threads they like... within reason of course

How about if IMDb lists the film as having sci-fi as a genre then the film is fair game?

I've just listed my top 50 already, not in order i might add.

It might be a struggle to do a top 100.

I might end up adding things to make up numbers.
