Default Predator/Predator 2

Just done a forum search and there are no existing threads for the two Predator films.

I've decided to get the R2 Definitive Edition of the first Predator film. Does this have all the extras which were on the R2 SE disc and does it contain the uncut version? It's advertised as the tin-box version but I've read a review on Play.com saying they got a cardboard DVD box version.

The tins were a limited edition run mate. The cardboard replacements are the norm now for all those definitive releases.

Reaps is right, they are all cardboard now although some tin may be floating around.

The R2 2 disc Definitive DVD is the uncut version unlike the seriously cut and dreadful first Fox DVD of Predator.

It is exactly the same as the previous R2 SE set but with a different case and DVD label art!

I like the 2 Predator flicks, but I wouldn't say that they've aged very well.

I think the films stand up quite well but then I have a fondness for Predator as it was the first video I could ever afford to buy!!!!

I have seen a tin version of Predator 2. Hope I'm not tempting fate now and the copy is gone by the time I go to purchase it! My copy of Predator: The Definitive Edition arrived a couple of days ago, and it was the cardboard sleeve version.

I managed to get a copy of the limited edition tin box version of Predator 2, but not with Predator.

There still doesn't seem to be a thread dedicated to the 'Predator' films, so I will put this here:

https://uk.movies.yahoo.com/video/hi...214220877.html - behind the scenes footage of Jean Claude Van-Damme in the original Predator costume

I always thought it would be strange having Van Damme as the Predator with him being a lot smaller than Arnie. He wouldn't pose much of a threat
