Star Wars was always my favourite sci fi movie from the seventies, however i think The Black Hole has now overtaken it.

Its the dire-logue in Star Wars that has eroded it over time in my opinion.

So many great films were made in the 70s,few of my favs are Capricorn One,Demon Seed,Phase Iv and Soylent Green,as always I saw all these films on telly during my childhood and they've stayed with me ever since.

I am not saying they are great films but i have always enjoyed the Victorian sci-fi of At The Earth's Core and especially Warlords of Atlantis.

Actually Warlords of Atlantis is a great film, wildly entertaining, and thats all that matters.

I love both of them, any thing with Doug McClure is great. I have the Doug McClure adventure collection that has those two and The Land That Time Forgot. Warlords was great fun.

Who would of thought it a good remake,I mean really good for a change,someone please show Marcus Nispel this is how a remake should be.

Never seen this* and its on my "to watch" pile of discs.
