I really enjoyed this film and it had me in suspense and awe, which it strange really because I HATED the BLAIR WITCH PROJECT which was filmed the same. But I think they should have stuck to just showing the monster in shadows etc and just have it roaring and breaking stuff. I think that would have added to the mystery of the creature.

What are your thoughts on the film

I really hope Reeves and JJ make part 2 like they said they want to.
They both been very busy so nothing was done. Reeves did say that they both have a idea that they both like and its just a matter of when they can do it.

Sorry Bringer, i hated it. I became so fed up with the camera pointing to the ground or the roof and not actually at what was happening. It was done so much better in Blair Witch and Rec.

Not much, if anything comes close to [REC] 1 and 2 when it comes to handheld horrors, but I do like Cloverfield. I like the atmosphere and the suspense. By coincedence, I got a cheap copy of the BR on ebay last night. Not sure what it'll be like on that format but I was willing to give it a shot.

I've only seen it the once and thought it was a really good film too.

well, having seen it in a decent cinema, i was bowled over by it. though i think REC is a superior film, il still stand up for it, though a sequel will only dimish the impact IMO.

The sequel genuinely adds to the original in the way that the best sequels do. I'd highly recommend it.

Ah sorry, I thought you were referring to a REC sequel, not Cloverfield
